Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequent questions and answers
Where is the photoshoot taken?
JC Graphy studio is located at Man Shing Industrial Building, Kwai Chung. It is 15 mins walk from Kwai Hing MTR station. It it a fully equipped photography studio providing photography equipments, in-studio restroom, clothing rack and steamer. All location details can be found here.
How do I prepare for my photoshoot?
Makeup
For professional/business/actor headshots, minimum makeup is recommended. I’d suggest you to wear your foundation with blushes and some lip colors.
Outfits
Feel free to wear anything which makes you confident and comfortable. Colors are highly recommended! However when it comes to headshots, try to stay away from strapless or asymmetrical tops. You don’t want to show too much skin on your headshots. I encourage you to bring as many tops/looks as you like. Jewellery is fine with me, we can do some with and without.
Just be yourself! Be relaxed and sleep well before the photoshoot. I will show you the shots as we go along so you get a good idea of what we have got and what we need to get – my sessions are very relaxed and collaborative!
Oh, and please arrive on time 🙂
Do you provide makeup / hair styling / outfits?
Not at this moment.
If you’re booking Headshot Express and Portrait Package and needing extra makeup, hair or styling services, feel free to contact me for details.
How do I get my final photos?
I take out any unsuitable shots (blinking, focus issues, duplicates, speaking etc) so that every shot on the online gallery is a good option. You will be sent a link to your online gallery within 3 days. Once you have chosen your shots I will edit them and send them back to you in high res within 5-7 working days. Online gallery will be kept for one month from the day you receive the link.
Any additional photos that you wish to be retouched: HKD$100 per image.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English, Mandarin and basic Cantonese with my background of being a Canadian Taiwanese. I can read 100% Traditional/Simplified Chinese so please don’t hesitate to email/text in 中文/國語/普通話.
