“Cinematic Actor Headshots That Tell Your Story.”

As a professional photographer based in Hong Kong, I bring years of experience from working in TV commercial production and independent film projects, giving me an insider’s eye for what makes an acting headshot truly stand out. My goal is to create portraits that feel real, expressive, and cinematic — headshots that capture not just your look, but your story.

With a fine art education and a modern, film-inspired aesthetic, my aim is to create images that feel more like captivating scenes than simple portraits. I use natural-looking light and balanced color palettes to evoke the mood and character that best express who you are as an actor. As a female photographer deeply passionate about humanity and storytelling, I cultivate a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere during every session. Instead of static posing, I encourage conversation, interaction, and subtle direction through creative scenarios — helping you reveal your most genuine expressions and emotional range. The result is an acting headshot that doesn’t just show your face, but tells your story — one that feels real, cinematic, and unmistakably you.

The Process

01. Figure Out What You Need

I currently offer two professional photography packages: Headshot Express and the Portrait Package.

The Headshot Express is a 30-minute session that includes one final edited image — perfect for quick updates such as a new haircut, your annual refresh, or capturing a specific typecast. This session typically features one to two outfits and a single colored backdrop, keeping the process fast and efficient while still delivering a polished, professional result.

The Portrait Package is my most popular option. This 1.5–2 hour session includes three different colored backdrops and the flexibility to try up to 3–5 outfit changes, depending on time. It’s ideal for actors looking to explore their full type range and create a more versatile set of professional headshots. With this package, you’ll receive five fully edited final images that showcase your distinct looks and on-camera personality.

Both sessions are designed to make the experience comfortable, creative, and tailored to your professional goals — ensuring you walk away with headshots and portraits that truly stand out.

02. Prepare For Your Actor Headshot Session

For actor headshots, minimal makeup works best — think natural foundation, a touch of blush, and soft lip color to bring out your features. Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable, and don’t shy away from colors! Bring several tops or looks to explore different moods, and feel free to include simple jewelry — we can shoot with and without it for variety.

If you book the Portrait Package, you’ll receive an Actor’s Questionnaire to help define your typecast, personality, and outfit choices — a great way to prepare for your session.

03. During The Session

Be yourself. Come rested, relaxed, and ready to enjoy the process. My sessions are easy-going and collaborative. Instead of rigid posing, we’ll engage through guided activities and dialogue that let your personality and range shine. Every session is a creative collaboration designed to uncover your most natural, compelling self. I’ll show you images throughout so you can see how we’re doing. And please, arrive on time so we can make the most of your shoot!

04. What’s Next?

I take out any unsuitable shots (blinking, focus issues, duplicates, speaking etc) so that every shot on the online gallery is a good option. You will be sent a link to your online gallery within 3 days. Once you have chosen your shots I will edit them and send them back to you in high resolution within 5-7 working days.

Your online gallery will remain available for one month from the day you receive the link. If you’d like to have additional photos retouched beyond your package, the cost is HKD $120 per image.
